ECST aims to engage distinguished experts and thought leaders from across Europe, thereby ensuring both geographical and intellectual diversity. We emphasise the importance of experts being free from political, ideological, and external pressures in their analysis and recommendations.
As an independent platform, we provide a space for impartial expert analysis across a wide range of geopolitical and security issues. Experts contribute through independent assessments, peer review of analytical outputs, and participation in closed and public consultations, ensuring the quality, relevance, and practical applicability of our work.
The European Centre for Strategies and Transformations builds strategic academic, corporate, and civic partnerships with institutions and organisations in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Austria, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and other countries across Europe and beyond.
Partnerships support joint research, data sharing, validation of findings, and testing of analytical assumptions across different national contexts. They also provide direct access to expertise, case studies, and institutional practice, strengthening the empirical base and applicability of our analysis.
The events organised by the European Centre for Strategies and Transformations bring together representatives of government and local authorities, professional analysts, experts, academics, business, and engaged civil society, all committed to strengthening Europe’s resilience to global threats.
We aim to facilitate the exchange of expertise and joint decision-making to develop forward-looking scenarios with practical strategies for crisis prevention.
The European Centre for Strategies and Transformations draws on specialised expertise, as well as sociological and geopolitical approaches. This methodology enables triangulation of evidence, reduces bias, and produces more reliable risk assessment and forecasting.
Our research focuses on defence capabilities and strategies, hybrid threats, countering propaganda and disinformation, prevention, detection, and resilience to FIMI, geopolitical dynamics and stability, international politics, financial intelligence and security, modern technologies, and cybersecurity, while not being limited to these areas. We continuously expand our research scope in response to the evolving nature of global threats.
